2015: After graduating college, I lived out of my car and by one way or another ended up in Portland, OR. Within three months, I started Heavy Set in a 5,000 sqft warehouse on the Northeast Portland waterfront. With some friends, we completely renovated it’s interior, jet sprayed the entire thing white, built a 180 degree 25 ft tall cyclorama, a loft and a heated pebble beach gallery. See photos below.
2016: Meets Christy Lai on a couch at a party and again on the street. Destiny. XYLIL begins shortly thereafter.
2018: Moved Heavy Set from NE to NW into an old rollercoaster manufacturing warehouse.
2019: Super is created.
2021: Heavy Set moves out. XYLIL HQ moves in. Located in the SE waterfront of Portland. Send us loveletters, here.
